Cave rehabilitation THIRD PRIZE IN THE COMPETITION

The exterior of the cave is conditioned for the situation in the mountain. The acces is situated in the lateral and is directed using small stone walls typicals in the area.

All the spaces except the bedroom are relocated and situated in the facade to obtain natural light. The kitchen has a large table which communicate the interior and exterior of the house.

The bathroom has a perforate facade to permite the light come on and also to guarante amazing view from the shower.

All the materials used are natural from the area and ecological. The floor is made by stones and concrete poured directly. In that way is easily to adapt whith the irregular walls and floors. There are also wood carpets to define the spaces.

The spaces are devided by curtains instead of doors for the cheaper price and because they allows a good ventilation and ilumination between the rooms.
