I'm MªJosé Siscar from Pego, Spain. I started my architecture degree in Valencia Politechnic in 2012 and am currentlly spending my fifth year as an exchange student in Groningen, The Netherlands.
I would like to use this space to talk about my interests, concerns and ideas about life and architecture.
ā
I am 22 years old and consider myself an active, positive and ambitious kind of person. I enjoy the small things in life, day to day pleasures like taking a walk in the sunshine, spending time with family and friends, enjoying a nice cup of coffee or listening to some good music.
ā
I also like spending my free time learning more about architecture. I have taken part in various architectural competitions, working with groups of classmates, friends and professors from the university.
ā
I try and travel whenever I have the chance and like to visit all types of buildings and urban spaces, taking in as much as I can from the vernacular architecture. I try to learn from the most insignificant places to the most iconic.
ā
My ambitions for the future are to work as an architect following my core values and principals. I believe in designing simple, efficient and functional spaces, with emphasis on ecological values and respecting the environment. I also believe that each design should be personal and unique, according to the needs of the inhabitants and those of the space around it.
